ML Engineer

As a consulting ML Engineer you will be part of a team of 10+ Codemill consultants working with the same client. The client is one of the biggest media companies in the world, who has a media lab for building, improving, testing and validating audio/video software and hardware. This media lab is located close to the Central Station in Stockholm and you will work on site and remote from home when possible. You will collaborate with your team on site and report to your Team Manager at Codemill and together you will have regular follow-ups to make sure that you are satisfied with your work situation and have the opportunity to develop your competence.

Here are some examples of the work tasks involved:

• Validation of audio and video processing components e.g. acoustic echo cancellation, beamforming, and noise reduction.
• Validation of the complete audio and video processing stack across multiple different laptop and mobile platforms.
• Develop new and modify existing validation tests, test vectors, test scripts and test setup configurations for validation purposes across the different platforms.

• Contributing to efforts of tuning, optimizing, modifying, designing and implementing audio and video processing algorithms for mitigating and resolving issues identified in validation work.
• Work with subjective quality evaluations to improve the quality of the conference software.

Your qualifications

To succeed as ML Engineer we believe that you have at least a few years of work experience or an academic background that includes a Master degree in engineering fields such as Electrical Engineering or Engineering Physics. It’s great if you have a background/interest in digital signal processing (within audio or video), video processing, computer science, technical physics or similar. Since the majority of our clients are international, you need to be able to express yourself professionally in English.
